Introduction

Engineering directorate is one of the prime directorates of FDA, Faisalabad which is responsible for planning, design and execution of development-related projects i.e.  roads and buildings sectors in Faisalabad city.

Function

• Planning and design of proposed projects under various programs, i.e., ADP, SAP, CDP funded by Govt.
• To resolve the traffic conflicts on various roads in Faisalabad city by planning, design and execution of underpasses, bridges etc.
• The planning and design of the engineering works of various housing colonies, e.g., Millat Town, Medina Town, Gulshan colony etc. which are under the jurisdiction of FDA.
• Development related works of FDA city housing scheme.
• Repair and maintenance of office and residential buildings of FDA.
