Introduction

The directorate of inspection carries out testing of structure material used to build new projects from the ground materials and components for new additions in civil/infrastructure domain. In addition to this the directorate carries out inspection of all works executed through Directorate of Engineering FDA. Moreover, the lab facility under this directorate provides testing facilities to all departments i.e. MCF, C&W, LG&CD, Anti-corruption Establishment and private commercial organizations in order to ensure quality of work carried out.
